Week of Love: Day 1 Criss Cross Box & Fortune Tellers

I am not sure about you but I have a ton of Valentine gifts to make! I decided that this would be my week of "Love". I will be posting Valentine projects every day this week and sharing a bit of love with my first blog candy giveaway! So check back this Wednesday!

Today's technique challenge on SCS was these adorable fortune tellers. Remember them from your elementary days? I LOVED them! If you don't remember how to make them, there is a template on Martha Stewart's site. I didn't have a stick around the house so I cut down a chopstick! :-)
Recipe:
Stamps: Be Mine
Paper: cerise, real red, close to cocoa, whisper white
Ink: regal rose, chocolate chip
Accessories: silver eyelets, scallop punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch, stampin dimensionals, red polka dot ribbon. stampin write markers

I also decided to make more of the Criss Cross Boxes. The template is from the Capture the Moment site. I made my first one back in the beginning of January. They are so cute with this papertrey set. I embossed each of the main images with clear embossing powder to give them a bit of shine.

Sweetie Pie & Nuts For You Recipes:
Stamps: My Punny Valentine
Paper: regal rose, close to cocoa, real red, whisper white, prints pack dsp
Ink: close to cocoa, real red, chocolate chip, regal rose
Accessories: scallop punch, oval punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch, eyelets, round tab punch, small cello bags, rose ribbon, versa mark, embossing powder, stampin dimenionals

OM Maren I've saved all the links for this cute little box. I love what you've done with it. I'm gonna make each of my kids one for Valentines day. But you know these would be great for any holiday! Thanks for sharing!
