Friends With Flair.....

Sorry to be late posting today. I just can't seem to get into the swing of things yet. My trip to Utah was amazing!! Instant friendships...that is the best way to describe the overall trip. I am so excited about all the new and exciting things coming for Paper Crafts. What an amazing & inspiring bunch of people behind the scenes! Here is a picture of us all on the porch at Brandy's house.

And of course, all of us Go-to Gals. Seriously the most genuine and fun group to be around. We cackled late into the night. I already miss them. :(
I need to clean my craft room today so I actually have some space to work. What a disaster! I did manage to clear a spot on the floor to make this simple card. :) It was a quick one. Just layered a few pieces of Indian Summer from BasicGrey, tied a May Arts bow, and stamped & colored a bit. I used one of the new releases, Simple Blessings.

Don't forget to check out the 2nd week in the Bachelor Bro challenge. You could have a chance at winning the grand prize, a $750 prize package! Who does that? Don't forget to head to the Unity blog to see ALL the fabulous Friends With Flair.

Also, Cath has a fun Gradient is Radiant challenge over at Moxie Fab AND will be kicking off the World Tour of Cardmaking on Monday!! All in preparation for World Card Making Day!!! Do you have your plans yet?

Masking Challenge

Since there was a giant post-it pad on my desk I thought I would play around with the masking technique today. I inked up the September {Everything Extraordinary} Store Kit of the Month from Unity. It is SO adorable!! You can see a list of stores that carry the kit HERE. I also combined the cards with some SCS challenges.
This first one is for the Clean & Simple Challenge. I masked the gorgeous butterfly! I also used the sentiment from the September Kit of the Month {Go Ahead, Wish}
Stamps: Everything Extraordinary & Go Ahead, Wish
Ink: ranger distress ink, SU white craft
Paper: PTI cardstock
Accessories: white embossing powder, nestabilities tag, may arts ribbon
This one is for yesterday's Color Challenge: pink, cocoa & white. I masked the sentiment so that the lamp wouldn't cover it up. Don't you love that quote?
Stamps: Everything Extraordinary
Ink: ranger distress ink
Paper: Bo Bunny Press pp, PTI cardstock
Accessories: Martha Stewart ribbon, silver spica pen, copic markers
Here is my take on today's Sketch Challenge. I masked the sentiment again so that it fit perfectly inside the journal box.
Stamps: Everything Extraordinary
Ink: ranger distress ink
Paper: American Crafts & SU cardstock, Studio Calico pp
Accessories: copic markers, PTI ribbon
Then, finally, the last masking card! I masked the leaf so that they would appear layered.
Stamps: Everything Extraordinary
Ink: ranger distress ink
Paper: PTI cardstock, Pink Paislee pp
Accessories: copic markers, PTI ribbon, martha stewart punch
Hope you have a great day! Be sure to check back tomorrow for the EXCITING NEW UNHIP HOP UNITY FUN. :)
