Mega March BLOG HOP Day 1

Welcome to the JustRite Mega March Blog Hop Day 1! :)

I made a little purse card (Deja Views template) for the event. The image is stamped directly on a paper doily (Little Yellow Bicycle). :) Pretty nifty, right? It comes from the Beautiful Blossoms Borders & Centers. The card flap stays shut with a little bit of temporary adhesive & is topped off by layered buttons. I also added a stitched edge along the outside edge of the purse.

The inside of the purse is lined and stamped directly with a sentiment from the Custom Design Cardmaking Kit.

25 designers, FIVE shopping sprees each day. No one knows where the prizes will be! Each day of the hop JustRite will have five Mystery Blog Candy Prizes hidden along the hop with a total retail value of $600. JustRite will randomly select five mystery blogs each day of the hop and randomly allocate each of the shopping sprees. For your chance to win, simply leave a little love (a comment) on each designer’s blog including the JustRite blog. The more designers you leave comments with, the better your chances of winning. Each day’s comments will remain open for three days. A winner from each of the mystery blogs’ comments will be randomly chosen using Random.org. Consult the listing of designers at the JustRite blog each day (each day’s designers will be different) and start out on your way! Beginning Friday, March 26, summaries of all the winners will be posted on the JustRite blog. Good luck to everyone and enjoy all the JustRite eye candy along the hop!

Today during the JustRite Mega March Blog Hop (Day One) JustRite and its sponsors will be giving away the following five prizes:

· $200 JustRite Shopping Spree
· $100 Spellbinders Shopping Spree
· $100 Stampers Dream Shopping Spree, and
· Two additional $100 JustRite Shopping Sprees!

Blog comments for Day One will be open until Thursday at 6pm EST. On Friday, JustRite will announce on their blog which five blogs have the mystery candy for Day One. You will need to go to the JustRite blog to determine where you need to go to find out if you are one of the five lucky winners.

DT Tuesday

It is my turn over on the Unity blog today. :) You should go check it out. Then you can see the card I made with a sentiment from this month's kit- Rockin it Unity Style & flowers from the Stampin Store kit- Adventures in Happiness.

If you are coming from the Unity blog, here is the entire LO that I made using the Scrapbooking/Collage Collection- Favorite Things. Lots of embossing on this one--both dry & wet! :) Isn't my niece gorgeous? :) Her eyelashes are almost a mile long.

Hope you have a spectacular Tuesday. :)

Simple, Colorful & Sketchy Monday.

Morning! :) Another beautiful day here in my little corner of Washington state. :)
The Monday Peeps decided to go with a color combination for today's challenge: turquoise, pink, and a neutral. YIKES! :)

Here is my SUPER SIMPLE take. The sentiment is from the current kit of the Month- Rockin It Unity Style.
I also used the combo to play the Simple Scrapbooking Challenge #1 posted over at the Unity forum on SCS. I used some more supplies from the current Scrapbooking/Collage Collection- Favorite Things.

Be sure to hop on over and check out how the other girls used the colors.

Unity....One of My Favorite Things.

Happy Thursday!!! :) How did your St. Patrick's Day go? Are you ready for some Unity?

Here is a mini album that I created from the current Favorite Things Scrapbooking/Collage Collection. It is AMAZING!!! I just love this new Crate line!!! :) Besides the stamps, hybrid ink haystack & patterned paper that comes with collage collection ALL that I used from my stash was the album, some thickers, a dark brown ink, and one sole copic marker to color in the hearts. Isn't that FABULOUS! What a deal. :)

Love This Life, Love My Boys
You might NOTICE that I used 2 pictures from previous layouts...because I LOVE them THAT much! :) I best start taking more photos if I am going to keep up with my scrapbooking! :) HA!

Each of my 3 kids have 2 pages in the album. :) I used 4 different stamps from the kit for each set of pages. Can you guess which ones? :)

Some of my favorite things about Jordan-
1- His well hidden goofy side.
2- His work ethic & determination.
3-How we can talk about life for hours.

Some of my favorite things about Maxwell-
1- His sense of humor and love of life.
2- His sweet, compassionate & tender heart.
3-His love of learning and trying new things.
Some of my favorite things about Calvin-
1- His curious nature and questioning about life.
2- His strong will and independent spirit.
3-The range of emotions he shares with only those he loves.
I love this photo of Jason holding Calvin's hand. You will most likely see that one again. :)
Okay. I hope you love it as much as I do. I know, I am biased...but what mother wouldn't be?
Be sure to hop on over to the Unity blog to find links to the other design team members to see what Unity yumminess they have to share. :)
