Scrapping Sundays

In addition to the holiday challenge, I signed up for the Scrappin' Goal Challenge for the month of January. My goal this month is to make 4 LOs and 4 mini albums. I thought originally I would like to do a 6x6 LO but then switched it to an 8x8. It isn't as intimidating as a 12x12 page but I can still add more than a picture! :-) At least for this month, Sundays are my scrapping days. We will see how it goes.....you all know that I am not very comfortable scrapbooking! I do, however, love making mini albums. They are short and have a definite end! :-)

My first LO of the year is of Calvin and his 'Great' Uncle John. John is an amazing soul who is like a surrogate grandfather to my boys. He reminds the boys so much of their late Papa, loyal and genuine.

Uncle John Recipe:
Paper: Get Happy dp, whisper white
Ink: ranger distress ink
Accessories: arrow & star punch, get happy ribbon, get happy strip tease, daisy d brads, making memories alpha stickers, janome sew mini, library card, doodle rubons

Those of you that know my family know that soccer is a huge part of our fall and spring. Amazingly, this is the first time I have attempted to scrap any of the boys' moments on the field! :-) Mini albums are so much easier for me to make! I LOVE the Cosmo Cricket Blackboard albums.

My Kids Are Soccer Players Mini Album:
Stamps: distressed dots, worn grid, (all about) My Kids...
Ink: ranger distress ink, whisper white
Paper: get happy dp, whisper white, index card
Accessories: ethan blackboard album, basicgrey buttons & brads, SEI ribbon, offray ribbon & ric rac, SU ribbon & silver cord, SU chipboard stars, star punch, making memories alpha stickers and shimmer alpha, copics, queen & co. felt soccer strip, scenic route numbers, signo white pen, me & my big ideas star bling, basicgrey soccer rubon, American crafts white thickers

Awsome album! I am always working on sports albums (no boys, I'm the sports freak in the family) so I'm always looking to see what other people are doing with action shots! Thanks for sharing! It's great!
