My little guy is soundly sleeping. I am staying up late and getting some stamping therapy! Amazing how good it feels!
I have been a SCS fan club member for some months and just recently discovered that there were monthly themes. Can you believe I missed challenges??? :-) I wasn't about to miss them this month! February's theme was Anything But Average. My first card is a nontraditional size, 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" square. I also used crystal effects, another challenge option, and the monthly sketch. The crystal effects is on the glass and both spoons. I used some liquid appliqué on the ice cream and a bit of stickles on the cherry! I wish you could touch it! :-)
Recipe:
Stamps: How Sweet It Is
Paper: cerise dp, basic gray, whisper white, real red
Ink: stazon black, white craft
Accessories: liquid appliqué, crystal effects, stickles, paper piercer, gray taffeta ribbon, white embossing powder, 1/2" circle punch, red rhinestone stickers, prismacolor pencils
There is also an inspirational challenge, some yummy dishes. This card is a nontraditional shape, talk about some coluzzle fun! The base of the card is a chocolate chip circle. I framed it with taken with teal by using dimensionals. The background is stamped out in white craft and colored in with various prismacolor pencils. The main image is also colored in with prismacolors. I added some more crystal effects to give them a bit of shine.
Recipe:
Stamps: Embrace Life
Paper: taken with teal, chocolate chip, very vanilla
Ink: stazon black, white craft, chocolate chip
Accessories: coluzzle, celery ribbon, crystal effects, prismacolor pencils, word window, sponge dauber, mineral spirits
