So I decided to stay up late/early tonight and get caught up on some challenges.
This first one is the Meet the Verve Divas Challenge. It was a color challenge: so saffron, chocolate chip, old olive & pumpkin pie. I uploaded an image before class in my SCS gallery but I like this picture so much better. It amazes me how much the quality of the image impacts the card!!
Recipe:
Stamps: great expectations, fluttering by
Paper: chocolate chip, cupcake dp (basicgrey), very vanilla
Ink: memento
Accessories: paper piercer, rhinestone stickers, slit punch, olive twill
The next three are for the Lizzie Anne Designs Birthday Sketch Challenge Contest.
BSC #1 Uses some more of that yummy Cosmo Cricket Haunted!! :-)
Recipe:
Stamps: spooked
Ink: Memento, pumpkin pie
Paper: old olive, haunted dp (Cosmo Cricket)
Accessories: ribbon, sewing machine
BSC#2 Uses more Cosmo....some fabulous & fun Hello Sunshine that I bought from Jacksonbelle Embellishments!
Recipe:
Stamps: Le Jardin
Paper: hello sunshine dp (cosmo cricket), whisper white, green galore, basic black
Accessories: offray ribbon, american crafts ribbon, satin ribbon, sewing machine, copics
This last one is BSC #3. I used some of my new Euphoria dp (basicgrey) from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. The frame came from a Studio Calico kit. It was white but, thanks to my copic markers, is now a light pink! The animals are cut out and added to the white paper with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of acetate and laid it over the main image making a window.
Recipe:
Stamps: Born To Be Wild
Ink: memento
Paper: euphoria dp (basicgrey), whisper white, blue bayou
Ink: memento, stazon
Accessories: offray ribbon, chipboard frame, acetate, sewing machine

All of these cards are just wonderful, but I love the colors and slightly retro feel of BSC#2. The stitched ribbon stem and leaves are such a sweet touch!
Gorgeous cards!!! Love them all!!
Oh Maren! These cards are fabulous! You always do such a terrific job! :D

WOW you have been busy. I am so excited to start my halloween cards they are my favorite. Funny though I am less excited to do my Christmas cards. Maybe because there are SO MANY of them.
