After looking at all the wonderful bits of yellow in the
SCS color challenge gallery, I decided to be brave & squeeze in another card during Calvin's nap (he ACTUALLY napped today.....YAH!) This time, I used that summer sun! I dry embossed both the wintergreen dp & summer sun with my fiskar plate (cuttlebug is still on the wishlist) and colored in the image & little circles with my prismacolor pencils.
Recipe:
Stamps: Fun & Fast notes, All In a Row
Ink: stazon black
Paper: old olive textured cardstock, summer sun, wintergreen dp, certainly celery, very vanilla
Accessories: fiskar's textured plate, green rhinestone brads, pewter hodgepodge, prismacolor pencils, yellow double stitched ribbon, celery 1/4" ribbon, ticket corner punch

Love this card! (and your blog too). I like what you did with the circle outline. Is that the stamp from All In A Row?
Cute card! I love the dsp. Congrats on getting your little one to nap!
I like the texture on the dsp and the color combination, very nice!
I love the brads at the center of the flowers. It is a nice finishing touch.
Love this- great job on the color challenge! The hardware is very cool, nice job!
This card is great! I love the little brads in the flowers. I have some of those and never thought of using them that way. Great inspiration! Thanks.
I am in SBS3 too. I really like your cards and blog. Your kids are beautiful.
Have a great day!
Kate
I absolutely love this card
This is a great card! I love the colors.
*much love my SBS3 sistah*
Love this and how can you not love summer sun :-) I'm slowly discovering that one of my favorite SU colors is on everyone's list of colors they can't work with. This is a supercute card and I'm gonna tell you that you need a Cuttlebug. My parents got me one for Christmas last year because I gave them a JoAnns 50% coupon and specificially told them what I wanted. They and dh laughed at how happy I was to emboss some cardstock and cut out some tags :-)
