Kind Thoughts Sketch Color Challenge

This card is for yesterday's color challenge on SCS and today's sketch challenge. It could also qualify for my Simple Monday card because this one was super quick! I used my copic black to color the scallop chipboard...so easy and no inky mess! :-)

My amazing hubby has been asking me to make a thank you card for a coworker who translated some info. I FINALLY did it! Just a simple and quick card. I didn't even break out the ink or stamps for this one! Love those Thickers!! :-)

Simple Monday: You're Tweet!

It is Monday! There is some clean up still from this weekend and a bunch of stamping I need to catch up on! I have a swap to send out and a shoebox swap to prep for! Calvin gets his cast off this week too!! :-) Going to be a busy one!! :-) Here is a simple card to start off the week. The sketch is from Lauren's Saturday Sketch. Perfectly sweet and simple!

Simple & Happy Days

It is Monday, time to do something quick and simple. Punches sure make paper crafting go fast, don't they? I used 5 different punches on this one!
I started with a piece of chipboard from On Board Accents. I cut a 3 1/4" square paper and punched out 1 1/4" circles to coordinate with the chipboard.

Simple Monday: Rub-Ons

This card was so quick! No stamping involved, just some chocolate Love & Happiness rub-ons. I really love how the rub-ons for SAB are colored!

Calvin update: I am still waiting to hear from his pediatrician about getting the referral approved from the ER. I hate the logistics of insurance!!! :-) He is pretty miserable today but currently napping, courtesy of some motrin.

Simple Monday/Tuesday

I love those Monday holidays! Don't they always feel like an extra Sunday? Sorry I didn't post my Simply Monday card yesterday...the kidos are feeling better so we had lots of play time! :-) Luckily, my husband doesn't work on these holidays so we get extra family time! The little boys are still sleeping so I whipped out this quickie. I did pick out my card I want to redo for today but it will need to wait until nap time....off to make some lunches!

Simple Monday: Cased Kind Thoughts

I have a hard time getting back into the saddle after a couple days off of stamping. It isn't quite midnight here on the west coast so I can still post my Simple Monday card. I decided to case a card from VSN. Although the butterfly is embossed and cut out, the card was quick. You can't go wrong with satin ribbon!

Simple Monday: Celebrate Friendship

Another Monday, another simple card! I still haven't cleaned everything up from the VSN weekend. Can you believe it? This is some scrap from Saturday that was still on my desk. I need to get into the habit of using more scraps instead of grabbing a fresh piece. I love the artichoke and pomegranate combo. It was inspired by Perhaps dp (basicgrey).

Simple Monday: Happy Days

Another wonderful Monday, right?? :-) Here is a simple card for you. I just love the the Many Happy Returns set. It took me a few minutes to decide which sentiment to add. In the end, "happy days" won out. The main image is from Boho Backgrounds. It is surrounded by a chipboard circle from On Board Lots of Letters. A little paper piercing, some old olive ribbon, spring silhouettes dp and it is done!
