Stretch a Sketch

Morning! :) Today we are showing you how to s-t-r-e-t-c-h the sketches in Go-to Sketches.

We are using this FABULOUS sketch from Kim Hughes. Fun! Endless possibilities, right?

I turned the sketch to the left.

Stamps: Unity Stamp Company Inside & Out
Paper: Bazzill cardstock & paper edges, Pink Paislee patterned paper
Ink: brilliance
Accessories: Spellbinders nestabilities & tag, Pink Paislee brad

Here is a little close up---->

What do you think? I love making gift boxes and the challenge of trying to find different ways to fold up the corners and playing with different sizes.

What do you love to make? Leave a comment below telling me about your favorite 'non-card' creation and you could win a copy of Go-to Sketches!

Cute and pretty box!! I love to make those little matchbox boxes...so fun and the nugget chocolates fit right in (that is if I can get them in there before I eat them all myself)!!

Great job! Love this. I usually make scrapbooks (the 8x8's have been perfect for gifts)... but lately I have been creating other things, such as wine labels and boxes.

Thanks for sharing!

I love this!! Great colors. ;)

My favorite non card creation so far would have to be some wall hangings I did for gifts at Christmas. They turned out great!

Thanks for the chance to win! :)

What a lovely box! I love the deep chocolate brown color palette.

My favorite non-card project is the altered frame. They make great home decor items.

Beautiful! My personal fave non card project is a sock monkey box I made for my sister's new baby boy. I made it to match the sonk monkey doll, blanket, and clothing inside.

Great project using the sketch. I've never used sketches for my non-card projects--something to try. My favorite non card projects are gift boxes--I just made one for mother's day.

Great box!! I love using my Big Shot to make little bags or milk cartons...so fun to pick out the paper (so the inside is pretty, too) and the embellies!

Love the box! I've been wanting to try boxes... I've been slowly making templates on my Silhouette, but haven't gotten around to trying to cut them yet!

My fav noncard were the table decorations for my son's grad party last spring--he's a film major and received honors in broadcast journalism, so I made centerpieces with paper crafted movie cameras, decorator chairs, megaphones and put them in buckets with his school photos decorating the buckets. It was really cute--and very masculine.

Great box! I love to cover little plastic boxes (stampin' up boxes work great) and then fill them with treats for friends.

Thus far, I've been sticking to cards. I'm sure that I'll venture out once I am comfortable with the cards.

I love making gift boxes, or any box with drawers too. I find it so satisfying to begin with a flat piece of paper, and then end up with a really cool 3 D item. Really cool indeed. Love the look of yours. Those layered scallops rock.

Yummy! I love all the projects shown on all the different Go-to Gals' posts, and they inspire me so much!!! Probably my favorite non-card kind of project would be treat boxes. They look so lovely especially with clear windows. Too bad they seem to be disposable :) Hey, pick me for the sketchbook! I need it!
