Things are a bit slow around here today. I apologize for the late post but I have a kid home sick. No fun! :( This card is for today's Monday Challenge. We are posting 'jeweled' cards. I went with some Everafter chipboard, elements, and patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket so this was super easy!

Christi is posting today's Unity Celebration Challenge. She is focusing on FIRST.
1. the project MUST include Unity stamps since we are celebrating Unity's FIRST birthday. (NO OTHER STAMP COMPANY's STAMPS!)
2. F is for flowers...include some sort of flower or flower image in the project
3. I is for insect...think butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs, etc...
4. R is for ribbon
5. S is for scallops.
6. T is for turquoise or teal so you must include one of these two colors in the project.

225 Cards & Gifts! 225? Amazing!! I can't wait to get my hands on this issue. The cover itself is inspiring and yummy! Don't you love the color combo?
Handmade gifts are priceless and I am always on the lookout for new ideas. :)

Speaking of gifts, a student in my night class just had a baby boy. He is SO CUTE!
I used the Bungle Jungle line from Sassafras Lass to make a gift set for her. Do you recognize the color combo? ;-)


The card is a gift cardholder. All you have to do is pull the ribbon and the gift card slides right out from behind the monkey.


I just love how this little box came out. Check out those handles! They were made from stickers.


I made a set of quick cards for her too. They coordinate with the other items and could easily be used as 'Thank You' cards.

Congrats! It was so fun reading about your first Unity stamps! My first kits were Butterfly Beauty, Giggle Grove & Gratitude=Joy. :) I can't believe it was almost a year ago. :) These kits have been well loved. :)
