Super Sunday!!

Today is Maxwell's 9th Birthday! I can't believe it! Halfway to becoming an adult! :(

I made a little mini album for him today. It goes through the alphabet and describes him perfectly.

I used the NEW FANCY PANTS release--> Life Father Like Son

Let's start with a little Going Retro card. :)

Okay...think hard on this one (Garden Variety). No sentiment is needed, right? Don't you think this would be a cool congratulation card? Do you get it? Okay here it is.....HOLY COW. :)

Do you have a flower punch around? I was playing around with mine and made a little wreath with the new Christmas kit- Merry. Merry. Merry.



Just punch out some flowers. Fold them in half. Make a wreath. EASY PEASY! :)

Morning!!! Are you ready for some Unity? Don't forget to start at the Unity blog for some SERIOUS inspiration. :)

Let me start with a couple cards with the kit of the month- A Little Happy.

Banners are HOT right now! They are everywhere. I was so excited to see a banner image in the new KOM. Not only that BUT you can customize your own. SO COOL!

Don't be afraid to cut the alphabet letters in your kit so you can customize! I started off cutting them up and stamping the banner on pink cardstock. Then I stamped the 'string' on the kraft base three times at an angle.

After I stamped and cut out each banner, I added string. Just use pierce or punch holes and run some string through. EASY! I did add a real bow too. :)

Punches are everywhere too!! I LOVE them, don't you? I was playing around with my scallop punch to create some new grass.

So easy and striking! :) Start off with layering some scalloped strips. I used temporary adhesive on the bottom two strips. :)

Next, I cut along each scallop. :)

Now alternate the scallop strips. You can easily take off the bottom two scallops to make the right combination. :) Easy peasy!!

Lastly, I made a journal with the Brave Girls kit. I can't wait to fill this up. It was inspiring just putting it together. :)

Paper Crafts Inspiration

I was admiring (more like drooling) over my May/June Paper Crafts again and got inspired to make some cards of my own.

I loved how Vanessa Menhorn put the buttons BEHIND the butterflies on p. 74. Genius!! :)

Winter Sims had a delightful color combo on page 49. :) GORGEOUS!!

I loved how Niki Estes put the ribbon tabs along the circle to make a sun on page 67. It inspired me to think of it like a mane too. FUN!
