Simple, Colorful & Sketchy Monday.

Morning! :) Another beautiful day here in my little corner of Washington state. :)
The Monday Peeps decided to go with a color combination for today's challenge: turquoise, pink, and a neutral. YIKES! :)

Here is my SUPER SIMPLE take. The sentiment is from the current kit of the Month- Rockin It Unity Style.

I also used the combo to play the Simple Scrapbooking Challenge #1 posted over at the Unity forum on SCS. I used some more supplies from the current Scrapbooking/Collage Collection- Favorite Things.

Good Morning!!!!!!!!!! Sorry about the wee break in blogging. Lots of stuff going on...sometimes I can't seem to get it all done. :)

Anyhoo....today we are celebrating Amber being stateside and went with a red, white & blue challenge. I have lots of cards to share with you today but decided to deviate and make a LO....inspired by my dear friend Brooke! :) It is of my littlest one...who always seems to keep me on my toes. :)

The days are going by fast now. I leave on Friday for the Seattle area and then fly out to CHA on Saturday! WoOhOo!!!!!!!!! So much to do and so little time....

Clean & Simple Monday

The Monday peeps decided to go with SUPER EASY for this Monday. :) This card uses the new Lizzie Anne Design single: Box of Chocolates.
I made a quick set of 3x3 cards with just the A Little Love set, black ink, Marth Stewart string, a red copic & my paper piercer. I think I might be able to make 25 more of these! :)

Monday......

Well that no procrastination resolution is still NOT working...ugh. Sorry, AGAIN, for the late post. Lots of things to do but I am slow & steady and getting them done! :)

Here is a SUPER DUPER quick Monday card. The Monday Peeps were making Birthday cards. I decided to go for a scrapling...just a bitty card. My intention was to make this retro arm chair and a shag rug. What do you think? Can you see the shag? HA! :)

Just some corrugated kraft alphas from Jillibean Soup, a K&Company brad on some May Arts ribbon, and the deco hound background stamped slightly on the top. Super EASY! :)

Spooky Scraps....

Happy Monday!! :) Today we are showing you 10 minute cards. 1o minute cards on a Monday....PERFECT!! I grabbed some scraps and whipped these both out in 10 minutes. :)

This one is a 3x6 card. The patterned paper is from the Blue Sky line by American Crafts and the sentiment is from the Teresa Collins Spooktacular journal tags.

Here is a 3x5 card. I used My Mind's Eye Boo to You! patterned paper, some American Crafts Thickers, and Michaels Halloween trim.

We decided to make Christmas cards for our Monday Challenge. I went for super quick again. Just a little American Crafts paper, a bit of May Arts ribbon, some quick sponging, a tiny bit of color, a few big sparkly brads and then stickles. I didn't even wait for them to dry! :)

Monday, Monday.....

Good morning! We are a bit slow around here this gorgeous Monday morning! Gearing up for a fantastic week! :) Maxwell will be turning 8 on Saturday.

We went to Silverwood on Saturday for an early celebration and then cooled down in the sprinklers on Sunday. Look what I caught on film! Luckily for Max, Calvin was actually enjoying himself. :) Stinker!


This is a quick card Calvin & I made for him. Calvin loves making cards. :)

We used the Crate Orbit Collection.....perfect for an eight year old boy! :) The alien and scallop bottom are diecuts. Calvin helped add some stickers for the sentiment and we used a couple Sassafras brads for the eyes.
