For my FUN & CUTE card I picked a Lizzie Anne Design image...they are almost always 100% fun & cute! :)
AND of course, I had to add a bright and fun color combo (YELLOW is a SURE HIT!), a bit of scallops to increase the cute factor and some trendy clouds.
The gingham ribbon just seals the FUN & CUTE deal.
Who doesn't love a card that is FUN & CUTE?

My go to embellishment is ribbon. However, I buy so many apoxy stickers that I should be using but I always feel like I need to START with that and work my way around it vs. adding it in later. I need to work on that.

I keep my craft room stocked with embelllishments, from fabric stores, to LSS, to antique or resale shops or recycles, for 'maybe someday'. So I pull out tons of possible embellies when I start my card design, I couldn't live without them all! I refuse to pick a favorite!

My go-to embellishment is brads--any color, any size. I find them very versatile and fun. Not only that, but the only tool you need is a hole poker and even that is not an absolute necessity. :)

O wow, I love this card. The details of the stitching and the clouds really do the trick. I keep meaning to try some machine stitching because I love it. I'm a neophyte card maker so my stuff is really basic and simple. Right now I lean towards putting a little color and sparkle on the cards with metallic gel pens. A few lines or dots here and there as accents. Probably just because it's really fast and easy. It'll be a long time before I'm up to your level of embellishing.

Not sure if a border punch is an embellishment but I love using borders of all different kinds on my cards using punches.
What a fun card - love the stitching, it's such a great touch! My style is shabby vintage, so I almost always use an authentic (that is, not reproduction) vintage embellishment on my card.... most often mother of pearl buttons or vintage trim.
My most favorite embellishment is rhinestones! However I do not always make cards that need rhinestones, so sometimes I use ribbon and buttons or nothing at all! I am not real good with flower embellies! I love your stitching and this card! It indeed makes me smile which is one of the great things about this hop!

Recently I've really enjoyed adding hand cut stamped images to my pages and projects...a little pop dot makes it stand out.
Polka dot ribbon is my favorite. That and anything orange :-)
