WOWZERS!

This is the LAST hop of 2010.

And WHAT a YEAR it has been.

I was putting together my annual layout (it is a 2 pager this year!) and thinking about how lucky I am.

Seriously.

I am one fortunate chica!

Pure LUCKY really....I don't deserve this life over anyone else.

And the worst part is that SOMETIMES I forget how lucky I am.

I get overwhelmed and stressed and shut out those wonderful things and thoughts some days. Most days I just sit back and enjoy it though! :)

My year consisted of tons of visits and adventures with family and friends.

INCLUDING...

teaching at CKC in Portland, OR {with some help from FAB Teri!}

going to Winter CHA in Anaheim, CA {yep. I DO remember the fountain}

visiting Unity in New London, MN {my second home?}

attending the editorial board meeting at Paper Crafts in UTAH {lots of laughs here}

doing the annual Memorial Day & 4th of July Camping trips {dirt. hikes. drinks. friends.}

visiting Loftus Hot Springs, ID for my cousin's wedding {so lovely}

attending a Seattle Sounders and Seahawks game {i luv my mom}

had a GIRLY Weekend in Seattle {who knew that basil worked in a cocktail?}

travelling to Summer CHA in Chicago {got to see my aunt and cousin for the first time in over 10 years AND play in the rain!}

going to Tom Petty and Lilith Fair with my sister {GREAT TIMES!}

learning to SKYPE {keeping connected with those I love}

visiting family in New York {including my dad & gram- whom I haven't seen in FIVE years}

going back to teaching middle school science FULL-time after a 6 year absence {AND LOVING IT!}

attending ScrapFest in the Mall of America with some AMAZING friends {with a quick trip back to Spicer--it is NEVER too cold to make a late-nite jump in a lake, right?}

lots of coffee and nights out with a TRUE friend {although NEVER enough-->btw-you are NEVER too old to climb a tree} :)

Yes.

It has been a YEAR!

I can't wait to see what 2011 will bring. :)

With a list of Thank You cards to tackle and little motivation or mojo, I turned to Paper Crafts Jan/Feb edition. INSPIRING!

This first card was inspired by Jess' card on p. 17.

Unity stamps: Embrace You, Encompassed Grace

Next, I was inspired by Ashley's AMAZING card on page 59.

I just loved how she attached the naked chipboard heart with a ribbon.

So lovely.

I used some of the Hopscotch line from BasicGrey, and a Maya Road Ornate Tags chipboard frame.

It is the END of the Month....time for another Go-to Gals challenge. This month we are playing with Imaginisce.

I used some Dino-Roar Collection Chipboard Stickers and some Petrified Wood and Rumble & Roar patterned paper.

Nearing the End of 2010

Isn't that just amazing? What a year!

Speaking of years.....did you see that the ENTIRE 2008 Kit of the Months will be retiring at Unity. Ahh...such a feeling of nostalgia when I think back to my first year with Unity.

These are some amazing kits--I made a TON of cards with them and lots of those were published in Paper Crafts. Yep, 2008 was my first time getting published in Paper Crafts! :)

A Moxie Fab Tassel Tutorial

Morning! Did you see this POST HERE -----> MOXIE FAB World?

Ready for a SUPER easy tutorial (only 5 steps!) on how to make your very own MOXIE tassel?

Here ya go....

1. Wrap some floss on a piece of cardstock.

2. Gently pull off the floss and tie a knot around the loops.

3. Fold the top loop down.

4. Add a hanging loop (if you want) with the extra floss and then wrap around and tie off. This knot can easily be tucked under.

5. Cut the ends!

Go-to Gal Challenge

Morning! SO....my camera battery charger is SOMEWHERE? It could be in Seattle? Buckley? Bellingham? Minnesota? All I know is it is not in Kennewick! So I will have to apologize....I ended up using Jason's underwater camera....if I can only figure out a way to get the card to stay in the water! HA!
